Inter-Collegiate Speech and Essay Writing Competition on Human Rights Day
More than 25 institutions participated in the Inter-Collegiate Speech and Essay Writing Competition named, “Sadaye Basahr” at Premier Law College
Gujranwala: Premier Law College, Gujranwala on December 11, 2021 hosted more than twenty-five colleges of different cities from Gujranwala Division for the Inter-Collegiate Speech and Essay Writing Competition in celebrations of the Human Rights Day. Student from Beaconhouse School System Gujranwala was awarded first prize in the Essay Writing Competition, whereas Humda Khuram from Army Public School won second and Khifza Shahzad from Govt. College for Women University, Sialkot, stood third. In the Speech Competition, Muhammad Usama Rizwan from Punjab University Gujranwala Campus bagged first, whereas Samama bin Khalid from Punjab College Daska stood second and Gul Bashra Shaban from ACE Group of Colleges Gujranwala stood third.
Speaking on this occasion the Chief Adjudicator of speech completion, Head of Urdu Department, Govt. Post Graduate College for Women, Professor Lalarukh Bukhari emphasized on the role of women in the development of human civilization, from the lives of hunters to cities and states. Director of Premier Law College, Mr. Saleem Shaheen, on the virtue of this occasions, urged the speakers to promote humanity without sectional divides.
All the three winners in both categories were awarded with cash prizes, merit certificates and trophies.
