Election Commission of Pakistan held an awareness session on the upcoming elections in Premier Law College
Gujranwala: Team of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was hosted at Premier Law College for a seminar on the importance of voting and usage of EVM in the upcoming elections. Speaking on this occasion the members of the ECP delegation stressed on the importance of role of women in the society and decision making. It was highlighted that women make a half of the population in Pakistan and should play an active role in the process of decision making and nation building.
In addition, the usage of technology in the coming election and introduction of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was also discussed. The guest members of the delegation ran demo on how to cast a vote through EVMs.
